I'm sooo late in writing this review but D'Lisa has been my waxer since my first encounter with the Brazilian. Since then, there is absolutely no one else I would trust to 'do me.' She makes you feel completely at-ease, she's fast at her task, and she's just so personable. I've heard great things about the other employees, in fact, one of girl friends swears by T'resa, but I'd have a hard time going elsewhere. She's totally into her craft and is definitely about quality as opposed to quantitiy. I've followed them through several moves and employee changes and, consistently, she maintains The Standard. Don't go anywhere else...

Best Wax Ever
I recently went to Wild on Wax two days before going on vacation to Miami. Let me say first that I'm an African American female, who get ingrowns very easily. So I had the pleasure of having T'resa do my bikini wax. She is the BEST!!!! The process was virtually painless and she is the best person to put you at ease and make you comfortable. She did such a great job, I wanted to buy her lunch afterwards, but instead I tipped, which I rarely do. I would advise any women on color to visit Wild on Wax. F.Y.I. it has been 3 weeks since my wax and I've had little to no ingrowns. I'm definitely going back very soon.

Best place for a Brazilian Wax!
The reason I like this place is because they use the blue hard wax.
I was waxed by N'gelica and she was awesome!! Super nice, very careful. It was my first wax and I thought it would be very painful but it was not.

Best Wax in the city
I have been to so many places in the area for Brazilian waxes, but Wild On is right on! They are the only salon I have seen do this correctly and quickly. The staff is super friendly and the place is very clean. Best of all, they get you in and out- no time is wasted. This can be a painful procedure, but I have never left feeling uncomfortable at all. It's as pain free as this can be!

I Found My Esthetician!
Tresa is radiant! She made sure i was comfortable and talked to me the whole time she was waxing. i almost forgot what i was in for. and as far as the pain factor, well let's just say that no brazilian will ever be painless, here was simply not as painful as other places i've been to. she didn't pull out big chunks all at once. she took her time to do smaller sections so i wasn't in that much pain.

Wild On Wax is THE BEST!
I went to Wild on Wax the first time just last month for a Brazilian with T'resa, and I received the most thorough, gentle, and comfortable Brazilian ever! Compared to past waxes with cloth strips, leftover hair and burning after effects, my experience with T'resa was very soothing and simple. She made me feel very comfortable, and made sure that I was happy with the results before I got dressed. Definitely a great experience and I am going back to T'resa for all my future waxes!

Best wax ever
Delisa is the coolest; my wife and I always went to Wild on Wax when we lived in Houston and still get an appointment when we're in town. One thing I like is fast, and Delisa knows what she's doing...I'm out of there quick with all the hair gone. She's the coolest chick as well, so chatting with her is always great. She's into sky diving...how can you not like a chick like that!

Amazing!!!!
Wow! I moved to Houston about 4 months ago but I've been wary about setting up an appointment for a Brazilian because lately I've had more bad experiences than good in the waxing department. Tresa changed all of that!!! She was professional and very sweet. The process was done quickly and as painlessly as it ever could be. The wax was the kind that dries and is removed when it hardens; much better than the strips of yore!! I made a follow up appointment when checking out (something I haven't done in a while! I hadn't found a place - til Wild on Wax - that I felt like returning to) This was a great experience and I am so glad I went with WOW and Tresa!!!

Made me feel relaxed
I had D'Lesa do my first brazillian and needless to say I was terrified. I hate my yearly OB/Gyn appointments and questioned why on earth i would pay to be humiliated...after some convincing from a friend I made the leap and will NEVER shave again. She made me feel at ease by talking to me candidly the whole time...I just went for my 3rd time and now its as simple as getting a pedicure just doesnt feel great. Im not going to lie it hurts but the way it feels after is SO worth it. So go give it a try! Chandler did my eyebrows last time and she did a great job too.

Amazing and worth the trip from Arlington Texas

Painless Brazilian Waxing
I would have to say that this was my first time in getting a Brazilian Wax. I was excited (because finally I would clean and bare) and nervous ( I thought it was going to be some type of excruciating pain) hehe but nope I had DLesa and what can I say, she is excellent at her job. You can tell when someone loves there job because they are great about it, her major concern is your tolerance level, she does not want to see you in horrible pain. She takes you step by step and talks to you throughout the whole process. I would honestly say that I don't care to look for anyone else just because it was my first time. I am going to stick to Wild on Wax :) DLesa you are a great person/waxer :) If you want a pleasant/painless expierence come to Wild on Wax I give it two thumbs up and If I had more thumbs I would put them up too :)

BEST waxer in the world!
Dlesa is fantastic - I have looked for waxers everywhere from Mass, Washington, DC, LA and throughout Houston and Dlesa is by far the best. Delesa is a godsend!
When I moved from LA to Houston, I had a hard time finding a waxing tech who didn't hurt too much and whom I liked enough to go back to. Delesa not only delivers a virutally pain-free wax, but she is so funny and adorable that you feel like good friends when you leave. Hands down, DLesa is the best waxer in Houston Texas! She somehow manages to make an ordinarily unpleasant experience enjoyable. Dlesa you are a rare find. Very down to earth, personable and truly a professional. I first had waxing in 2004 and after a horribly painful experience I vowed never to let wax touch my nether regions again!! But then I found Wild On Wax and that all changed. The Queen of the Brazilian Wax
I drive an hour from Galveston to come and see Delesa at WOW. I've discovered time and time again that she truly is the best out there. Yes, every once in a while I take a Recommendation from someone for a Wax on the island, but I always end up regretting it. Without a doubt, the absolute best in all of Houston
When it comes to the wonderful world of brazilian waxing, I can say I have been there and done that to virtually every imaginable scenario. I've trekked all across the Houston area looking for affordable, I've ventured all over town letting my wallet suffer as much as my nether regions, I've been made to feel embarrassed, I've had skin torn, I've been bruised, I've been plucked to death in places no one should ever be plucked. Simply THE BEST! I had just started getting Braziilian waxes and I was new to Houston. So, I had no idea where to go, and a coworker told me about "someone" at "somewhere" wax it place . I asked for the esthetician she recommended and it was the worst experience of my life. I knew it was supposed to be painful, but this was torturous, and it took FOREVER. Afterward I was dreading my next visit. When I called to make a new appointment they told me their waxer was on vacation. Not knowing what to do I checked CitySearch, and found Wild On Wax. I had to force myself to go and I was trying to mentally ready myself for the pain. Something about Dlisa's personality immediately put me at ease so I dropped my jeans and we got down to business. I tensed up anticipating the pain....and it never came. I don't think anymore than15 minutes could have passed before she said "Ok, Done!". I was dumbfounded. No pain?, No long grueling torture session? I knew I was groggy because I had just woken up before the appointment but I was sure I'd been dreaming. Best waxing boutique in Houston
I love Wild on Wax. Of all the waxing places in Houston, Wild on Wax is the most professional and caring. The staff is very cool and super gentle. The environment is cool and relaxing, looks like your LA. They use this Hard Blue wax that is not as harsh as honey wax. I've been to other places which all they use is honey wax and i would not recommend it. It's very clean and the aestheticians are experts. Delisa did my Brazilian the first time and i went to her sister Teresa the second time. They Both are very good!!! I'm going in next week for my first Vajacial. Best Brazilian ever!
I had a Brizilian bikini waxing this morning and I can tell you it was the best I ever had. Tresa is an amazing person, so you feel really comfortable around her. The best most thorough Brazilian bikini wax ever!!
Okay, can you get more personal than having somebody wax your privates??? Scary thought, someone ripping your hair out by the roots right around THERE. But Dlisa does it in the most professional, most non-judgemental, most safe, most comforting (yes, comforting...) environment and with, really, the least amount of discomfort possible. I thought I'd be in there for at least an hour - wrong. Dlisa chatted me right through that first session like we were old chums from high school and I was out of there in like 15 minutes tops with the best, most thorough wax job ever. I'm now a Brazilian bikini wax convert and my boyfriend is a happy, happy, happy man. A couple of weeks later I had teresa (Dlisa's sister) do a chemical peel for a special event I was attending - WOW! Unbelievable! I look at the pictures every once in awhile when I need a little lift - "Yes, I AM gorgeous!" I had people I didn't know coming up to me and commenting on how beautiful I looked that night. This is from a girl with splotchy skin and enough hair for 5 people - These ladies ROCKS!

Tresa Is the best!
I've had horrible experiences w/ waxing before. Tresa made the entire process as painless as possible and was extra cautious when I told her I was nervous (and when she was taking care of places I had been damaged before from previous aestheticians/waxers). She is thorough and her technique is fabulous. Skin feels smooth and looks completely hairless afterwards! She is also completely professional about the whole experience. Over an hour drive and worth it!
I have been going to D'Lesa almost two years now and would never go anywhere else. She is the only person I would trust to wax me or my daughters as I have been to all the other salons from the Woodlands to Richmond area that claim to have painless Brazilian / Australian / Egyptian. Least Painful Bikini Wax EVER!
This place does a bikini wax that is practically pain free -- no kidding!! I have very sensitive skin, and I was totally fine. Best Place For a Brazilian Wax
OMG!! This is the best place for Brazilian wax! The people are so nice and welcoming and the wax is SO much less painful than anything I've experienced before. It's really sanitary and very warm and welcoming when you enter. The ladies at WOW were very professional and they made me feel very comfortable. They use a special blue wax , which does not adhere to the skin as. I also had an upper lip wax which was great because I didn't get a rash that I usually get when waxing because of my sensitive skin. I highly recommend WOW for waxing!

Excellent Service ~ Clean Salon ~ Highly Recommend
Of the 12 years I've been waxing, I've spent the last 6 going to WOW. I've highly recommended it friends, business associates & clients for years so i decided to write a review for any of the potential first timers. I don't live in the neighborhood, but am willing to make the drive because i know each time i do, the customer service & waxing will both be QUALITY... At most salons getting an appointment with the salon owner can be both costly and require booking weeks in advance. However, I've never had a problem booking my appt with D'Lesa,(who is the pioneer of the waxing salons in Houston) D'Lesa also taught the technique behind the Hard Blue Wax to all the waxing salon owners in the Houston area. I know this because before Wild on Wax no one in the Houston area used it. Now she is educating them on the difference in the Hard Blue wax that is Parrifin based vs. Cotton Oil base. I love getting waxed, I learn something new every time. The salon is very clean and comfortable. MOST IMPORTANTLY the brazilian wax is quick but never rushed. And while no wax is pain free, this is without a doubt the most painless wax i've ever had.

BEST Wax Ever!!!
Ok so I have NEVER written a review before, but I must for this place. I have been getting sugar waxing done for the last couple of months thinking that is less painful than regular waxing and then I decided to check out Wild on Wax because my lady was not in town and I am glad that I did. Sorry wax lady I am cheating on you with D'Lesa! This is the best place ever and so pain free! D'Lesa is great and makes you feel so comfortable. I thought I would start with a bikini wax at first because I was scared that it would hurt and in the process of it I sad "D'Lesa just take it all off!" I highly recommend this place!

Painless and professional.
After much research on a male Brazilian wax, I was a little apprehensive and expected it to be an uncomfortable experience. Much to my surprise and relief, my 'Australian' wax was was painless and not at all uncomfortable.

Oh my goodness!!! I have found the best place to get waxed!! I went to Delisa, she is very friendly, informative and knows how to wax!!! I had her wax my legs and I was very pleased with the results. I usually get my legs waxed at the nail salon, but I saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. Delisa explained everything she was doing, the nail salon doesn't even do that. This place is really great!
All of the staff made me feel very comfortable. I had gotten this service done before at a different salon and the two places were like night and day. I am now a loyal customer and will continue receiving the services on a regular basis. I was very happy with both visits there. As far as sales pressure, they only have one product that they sell and they gave me enough free samples that I didn't have to purchase any. A really positive first time experience! Very professional!
This was my first time to do a Brazilian, and I was nervous (as most are). D'Lesa was ultra-professional and made me very comfortable. She explained the entire process. The room was ultra hygenic, comfortable, and very non-threatening. The procedure was almost painless, and what was most impressive was that I wasn't red or sore after (and I have very sensitive skin!!!!). I admit it... I"m hooked, and will definitely be going back. Turned waxing into an art form!!!
Okay folks, I'm a guy and I love getting waxed. It started as just getting my back done and I just loved it so much it kind of grew into a fun thing to do for me and the results are just awesome. Waxing, in general, has always impressed me. Then, I discovered Wild on Wax. They've taken waxing to the next level. Wild on Wax is the cleanest, most professional place I've ever been to. They're not waxing out the back of a nail salon or a beauty parlor...this is waxing only and it's amazing. The girls on staff are the best I've ever encountered and have no problem working with a guy. They're hospital-like hygienic and there's no double-dipping going on! They use the blue-wax for the big areas and I've used Mendi (no longer there) and D'Lesa (the owner) and both did a great job. They provide free samples of PFB-Vanish, which is a great product for preventing ingrown hairs...but if you're like me and have a lot of work done, buy a bottle...it's worth it. One thing I like is that it's a totally relaxed atmosphere. For a guy, a lot of waxing places just seem really like you'd want to put a bag over your head when you go in so no one would see you. This place is just really hip and cool. In the rooms, each esthetician has their own room set up how they like it with music or TV, or however they want it. Each room has SUPER comfy beds to lay on! If you ever have a problem, you can just call and get help. They're super knowledgeable. They will help you with aftercare if you're new at waxing. They really want you to have a good result and it shows. I.started going here when they were at their old location on West Gray. Now, the new one on West Alabama is a bit less charming, but they're in same suite with Houston Skin Clinic and share a receptionist, which is nice because you can do stuff with them too at the same time/location. PLUS, the parking is WAY BETTER! If you like to get waxed, you will LOVE wild on Wax!

Sooo Smooooooth!
I went to get a bikini wax a week ago. I was very nervous but I saw so many great reviews for Wild On Wax I had to try it. I had D'Lesa and she was excellent. Almost pain free, very comfortable room. D'Lesa made me feel at ease and it went by quickly. I was amazed at how quick and painless it was, and I'm kind of a scaredy cat when it come to these things. I even got a brazilian bikini wax. Waxing is Great!
I have to admit... I was totally nervous about the whole "Waxing" thing, but I was determined to try it again because all my girlfriends rave about it. I have been waxed once before several years ago and it was a terrible experience and I was really scared to try it again. Well...... now that I have been to see D'Lesa @ Wild on Wax I am TOTALLY hooked! It was so wonderful andDlesa was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. She talked to me the whole time and completely made me feel at ease. I have a very low tolerance for pain and this was a BREEZE! It was a wonderful experience and now I know what all the hype is about! I LOVE IT! Thanks toD'Lesa who did such a great job and made me feel so comfortable. I went to Wild On Wax and I thought it was the most amazing experience and the person that did my waxing was cordial...funny ...and very gentle!D'lesa was hilarious and made the entire experience great! I found the entire facility to be absolutely perfectly clean...from the front door to the room! Second time is a charm.
I had a brazilian about a year ago at another salon and swore I would never do it again, but after my friend's recomendation to go to Wild on Wax I took a deep breath and went. I can tell you that I will NEVER shave again!! Wild on Wax makes having a brazilian not painful at all! I loved it! Plus my skin was not irritated or bumpy at all after waxing. D'Lesa is AWESOME!! She has such a great personality and technique! I felt so comfortable. I will say that the second time is much better than the first- You HAVE to keep it maintained- the second time I went I did not feel any pain at all! I love this place!

Best wax anywhere in Houston!!!!
I LOVE this place! I went to other waxing places first but was very turned off by unprofessional behavior and cheap wax! D'Lesa is very professional and makes you feel comfortable!!!! I am very self-conscious and couldn't have been more comfortable while getting waxed! She has a quick hand and does a wonderful job. She talks to you the entire time and is very personable!!! REALLY the best wax job ever!
First of all I have to say that I have never written a consumer review for anything in my life, but I really had just that great of an experience! I will start out by saying what I told D'lesa and that is I'm kinda glad that I experienced everything a brazilian wax shouldn't be and even the mediocre ones, because now I can see and appreciate what the best should be and is. . . . and that has only come from D'lesa! She was absolutely wonderful! I have been to what I was told was one of the best places to get a wax at Beautique Day Spa and Salon and was surprisingly extremely disappointed by Jennifer! She nearly ripped the meat out of me. . . . and that was in the span of my all of FIVE minute wax (no joke). You don't even have time to breathe. I've heard great things about D'lesa from family and friends, so I finally made an appointment. I seriously was upset with myself for not coming to her sooner. She made me feel comfortable, she was so personal, and it was the less pain I've ever experienced from a wax! She educated me and answered all of my questions professionally instead of giving me insulting, kindergarten answers. I promise you it's absolutely no turning back after you experience D'lesa!

Best Wax Job Ever
This was my first time EVER being waxed. I was scared as HELL!!! But D'Lesa was so cool and honest about everything & it was not nearly as bad as I thought it was gonna be. She applied pressure to the area immediately after waxing which soothed any pain and she also applied ice when needed. I am telling everyone that I know about her. Houston we have a problem!! There are several new "waxing salons" opening in the city of Houston all of the sudden and they have a lot to learn. W/O going into a lot of detail, I thought I would share my opinion with everyone. If you want any part of your body wax there is only one place to go, and, you are reading one of there reviews now. Due to certain circumstances WOW had to close for a few months. Longest few months of my life! I was force to try other place because I've been waxing since WOW opened 8 YEARS AGO. Shaving is not an option anymore. I was close to giving up. But guess who's back. D'Lesa you were missed by many.

Waxing is an art!!!
I've been waxed many times and I now realize that it is an art. I had heard of wild on wax about 4 years ago when they were on the Roula and Ryan morning radio show doing a brazilian wax on a male. Very Funny as I remember! Long story short, I started taking lessons at the S Factor, and one of the girls came in and said she had just learned that Wild on Wax was Back, and nine out of the ten girls that were in the class took out their cell phones and programed wow's phone number in. They were all very excited. So I gave them a try myself. WOW is right! DeLisa is by far the Best Ever. My girlfriend has started a salon in Conroe and is learning brazilian waxing from D' Lisa at Wild on Wax. I was her 'model' and being my first ever brazilian experience...I was so nervous! D'Lisa demonstrated the procedure for my girlfriend on me and I must say...D'Lisa is an extreme specialist in brazilian waxing ! ! I knew going in that it wasn't going to feel real good but D'Lisa knows exactly how to apply immediate pressure in the waxed area to stop the burn. She knows hair growth, and how to avoid bruising in those in precious areas! I love her! Her new location is beautiful, she has a cool flat screen TV to watch while being waxed. She's FAST...very important! She knows EXACTLY what she's doing! I have smooth skin, no ingrowns and being my first time she's going to do a free "touch" up. She uses only the best blue wax so as not to cause irritation. I feel so liberated and I am totally her newest regular client! I lost WOW and my girls.
I posted before about WOW, looking for Pia and all I had to do was call. I called WOW to schedule with D'Lisa in the mean time and someone said that WOW was gone too?? I am confused, why is the number still the same? The girl told me that D'Lisa was taking time off but that I could still come in and see one of her waxers..I just want my old girls. I asked if they knew any new information on where Pia was and after being on hold for a few minutes she came back to say that Pia was on her own in the Woodlands with her own salon....they also said that maybe D'Lisa moved in with her! I thought she was taking time off? Something is up!! I searched the Woodlands on Citysearch and I found them, but the name is different. Is Wild on Wax still around? The Best Waxing Salon In Houston!
From my last waxing salon experience I was reluctant to try again, BUTTTTT WAIT! Upon doing my research and a referral I found Wild On Wax. Very Very Very clean and sanitary which is most important. (They wear gloves and don't double dip!)!!!! Pia was my Licensed, yes I said Licensed Aesthetician. She make you feel like you're her best friend. I was beyond comfortable I almost forgot I had no clothes on from the waist down. The Blue wax they use is amazing and I have yet to have one of those annoying hair bumps. If you was like me and swore to never go back to a waxing salon; try Wild On Wax before totally discounting the whole idea.....they get an A+

Pu Pu Pu Pia Pet
Okay, Okay ....I am a heterosexual man and I enjoyed being waxed. Luckily I'm not the only one!! I was recommended by a friend and I did my research online mainly to find out if I was being punked by him, I liked what I read and I thought that i would try it. I was reluctant but decided to go in anyway, best decision in a while. I was greeted when I walked in ironically by the girl who waxed me, Pia. Immediately I felt comfortable, I went to her work room and she waxed my back amazingly fast and just about painless, the sides always hurt. I had gone to another place a few months back and it was awful, however I will not name names...I will tell all of my friends and my fiance too that they have to go see Pia. That chicks personality is too much, she kept me laughing the whole time. I will never let anyone else wax me again!! Oh yeah, the place was very clean and that blue wax that they use is great, also they do not reuse those sticks! So, all you men reading this GO FOR IT!! Pia don't you ever leave b/c I am a loyal follower.....NOT STALKER. hahaha

WOW is correct!!! I came in for a back wax and I had Pia as my aesthetician...She rocks!!!!!! I love that the parking situation is taken care of, it is much more convenient. I do have to say that the salon is very clean and there is no double dipping for the wax. Pia was very knowledgeable about the process and she made me feel comfortable about having my back waxed, I felt like I had known her for years, and her sense of humor was a big help. I recommend to anyone male or female to try waxing and to definately try it at this establishment....if you can get Pia as your waxer then you are lucky!!!! She is super fast and very clean.

Turning waxing into an artform!
Okay folks, I'm a guy and I love getting waxed. It started as just getting my back done and I just loved it so much it kind of grew into a fun thing to do for me and the results are just awesome. Waxing, in general, has always impressed me.
Then, I discovered Wild on Wax. They've taken waxing to the next level. Wild on Wax is the cleanest, most professional place I've ever been to. They're not waxing out the back of a nail salon or a beauty parlor...this is waxing only and it's amazing. The girls on staff are the best I've ever encountered and have no problem working with a guy. They're hospital-like hygienic and there's no double-dipping going on! They use the blue-wax for the big areas and I've used Mendi (no longer there) and D'Lesa (the owner) and both did a great job. They provide free samples of PFB-Vanish, which is a great product for preventing ingrown hairs...but if you're like me and have a lot of work done, buy a bottle...it's worth it.
One thing I like is that it's a totally relaxed atmosphere. For a guy, a lot of waxing places just seem really like you'd want to put a bag over your head when you go in so no one would see you. This place is just really hip and cool. In the rooms, each esthetician has their own room set up how they like it with music or TV, or however they want it. Each room has SUPER comfy beds to lay on!
If you ever have a problem, you can just call and get help. They're super knowledgeable. They will help you with aftercare if you're new at waxing. They really want you to have a good result and it shows.
I.started going here when they were at their old location on West Gray. Now, the new one on West Alabama is a bit less charming, but they're in same suite with Houston Skin Clinic and share a receptionist, which is nice because you can do stuff with them too at the same time/location. PLUS, the parking is WAY BETTER!
If you like to get waxed, you will LOVE wild on Wax!

All of the staff made me feel very comfortable. I had gotten this service done before at a different salon and the two places were like night and day. I am now a loyal customer and will continue receiving the services on a regular basis. I was very happy with both visits there. As far as sales pressure, they only have one product that they sell and they gave me enough free samples that I didn't have to purchase any. I recommend to everyone, it really is not a painful procedure. These girls know what they are doing.

Lady's and Gent's ?Wild on Wax" will end any doubts about getting waxed. There very nice, clean, and, professional. This was my 1st binkni wax and it was great. Well, worth every penny. I've never even had a bikini wax done before but decided to bite the bullet and go all out with the full brazilian. After seeing all the RAVE Wax on Wild reviews I decided to give it a go. IT WAS AMAZING!!!
I thought the price was alittle high at first but now I can totally see why! I would never want to go anywhere else again.
Especially for my first time I felt awkward but Angelica was awesome and completely put my mind at ease. She talked me through the whole process and their was even a movie playing infront of me to help me take my mind off everything.
Angelica was really really meticulous and made the process as painless as possible. Considering that I shaved all the time I had a lot of build up on my roots, I expected it to be so much more painful but it WASN'T!!! Angelica made sure I was comfortable and was the sweetest girl I had ever met.
Wild on Wax uses a hard brazilian blue wax which I was told by Angelica is especially made for brazilian wax jobs so it doesn't adhere to the skin, just to the hair itself so it causes less irritation and won't burn or peel the skin. She also used a special cream wax for sensitive skin to pick up any stray little hairs that weren't long enough to pull out with the regular wax.
For first timers like me, Wild on Wax also offers a complimentary touch up wax after the first week in case any little hairs that weren't long enough to wax turn up. AND, they even gave me a free sample of a product they sell called Phish that you use as an after wax treatment to prevent ingrowns and razor burn (it really did the trick)
THE END RESULT, Completely smooth, comfortable, no ingrowns, no redness and NEVER WANTING TO GO BACK TO REGULAR SHAVING AGAIN!
Ask for Angelica if you can especially if you're a first timer cause SHE ROCKS!

Holy Wax!!!!!!!!!
I have to admit... I was totally nervous about the whole "Waxing" thing, but I was determined to try it again because all my girlfriends rave about it. I have been waxed once before several years ago and it was a terrible experience and I was really scared to try it again. Well...... now that I have been to see Mendy @ Wild on Wax I am TOTALLY hooked! It was so wonderful and Mendy was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. She talked to me the whole time and completely made me feel at ease. I have a very low tolerance for pain and this was a BREEZE! Oh my goodness!!! I have found the best place to get waxed!! I went to Mendy, she is very friendly, informative and knows how to wax!!! I had her wax my legs and I was very pleased with the results. I usually get my legs waxed at the nail salon, but I saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. Mendy explained everything she was doing, the nail salon doesn't even do that. Since the experience was such a success, I have made another appointment for a Brazilian. Thanks to Mendy, I will be ready for bikini season!!!

Where do you start....The employees are VERY nice and the place was very clean. I had the pleasure of having my BRAZILIAN :) done by D'Lesa. She was not only capable but was quite attractive and helped me to relax. As a male I was not very sure about getting a Bikini wax but it felt like the right thing to do. I'm impressed!
I have only been here once because I moved away soon after, but I was impressed. During summer, when it was probably really busy, I was able to get an appointment for the next day. I drove all the way from the Woodlands (45 mins) to come here because of the reviews. I had my legs waxed at a high dollar chain nail salon in The Woodlands and it was a nightmare - it was excruciating, they used no pain remedy, the waxer was silent, and even for what I paid, less than half of the hair was removed because the waxer was on a busy schedule - also the waxer was rude and said I had such hairy legs that she couldn't remove all the hair.. well she barely removed anything and completely ignored the sides of my legs. So I decided to try the salon with the best reviews on here (Wild on Wax, of course!) and experienced NONE of the problems I had at the previous salon. I think my waxer was Angelica(?). As crazy as it sounds, she was actually able to make me comfortable with being in my under wear in front of a stranger (I'm shy!). She was super friendly and carried on conversation with me the whole time, mostly asking me about myself, so I forgot about the pain because my mind was busy with the talking - GOOD THING! I don't agree with people who said it was pain-free, but it was FAR less pain than any other salon caused. It felt like rough sandpaper scratching me on most parts of my legs. I am a huge wimp with pain, but WOW was a thousand times less painful than the previous salon. All of the staff is very friendly and my waxer was obviously very experienced with her job. I almost want to drive back to Houston because I am too scared to try anywhere other than WOW!! Definitely try this salon if you are in Houston. I think it was about $85 for full leg waxing before tip, but I definitely got my money's worth.

Great first time experience!
I went to get a bikini wax a week ago. I was very nervous but I saw so many great reviews for Wild On Wax I had to try it. I had D'Lesa and she was excellent. Almost pain free, very comfortable room. Close to pain-free!
WOW is awesome! I just went yesterday for the first time. Mendy made me feel very comfortable, and there was no awkwardness. I had never used the blue wax before, and I will never use anything else. Mendy was very friendly, and I highly recommend WOW and her. My only complaint is that's it's hard to find. It's in an old house (which is very cute!), so don't expect to see it the first time. I drove past it twice! It was worth the looking and worth the drive! It's more expensive than what I was used to, but it was far less painful than what I was used to (worth the price right down to the last penny!). I can't say enough good things! I've already referred someone else there!

Angelika is the BEST for brows. Although the $30 price is more than most people I know pay for a brow waxing, it is well worth it. You definitely get what you pay for. Awesome.....SUPERB! D'Lesa (bikini waxing) and Angelica (brows) make the competion pale in comparison. Don't waste your money anywhere else! Are they pricier than most in town? Yep, but in this case, you get MORE than you pay for. It's a delightful atmosphere and all of the "girls" make you feel like you've been friends forever. I'm going to spread the word, but truly fear that doing so may make it very hard to get an appt. after my girlfriends get to experience D'Lesa's handiwork. That woman is a master at waxing! Worst waxing experience ever!
I went to this place based on the reviews here - and I can't help but think these reviews are fake! I had a Brazilian wax as well as full leg wax. It cost about $160 plus tip, and was a complete waste of money.
1. Angelica did not apply any powder before beginning the wax.
2. She did not trim the hair first.
3. The Brazilian is supposed to consist basically of three strips. One, two, three, you're done, and then they clean up any strays with tweezers. Angelica did about 11 or 12 strips - I am NOT exaggerating! - and she did each strip 2-3 times. And NO clean up afterwards with tweezers.
When I got home I found a lot of strays, and the very next day I had stubble everywhere. After one week, I needed to shave, everywhere. As near as I can tell, all she did was break all my hair off at the roots. It hurt a lot (and I have a high pain tolerance) and it was a complete waste. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone! My skin was a mess afterwards, too, and that is not an area you want to have a weird skin reaction! Also, although I was already aware of the need to exfoliate to keep from getting bumps, no one at the salon ever mentioned to me that you should exfoliate.
In summary: totally unprofessional, only did half the job, overpriced rip-off!

Nervous? Don't be...
I started going to D'Lesa a year ago, a middle aged mother of four, very nervous about getting waxed. I had lost a lot of weight and wasn't very pretty undressed. Add that to the fact I actually had to get undressed and well you get the picture. I was never uncomfortable once I was in the chair. D'Lesa not only put my mind at ease but I the pain was minimal. I used one of the other ladies once and it too was a terrific experience. The whole shop is professional and knowlegable and really friendly. I'm getting gift certificates for my oldest daughters for Christmas. I come on Saturdays and weekdays and have never had a problem with parking.

Ladies, this place is fabulous! You do not need to look any further when trying to find a place to get a wax. Trust me, the pain you hear from your friends is not normal. The ladies at Wild on Wax know what they are doing. They use the blue hard wax without strips and it doesn't hurt at all. I had it done that way in California so when I moved "home" to Houston area, I tried to find a place that had the same wax and here it is! I even went to two other places first who used the honey wax with strips and I'm telling you, that pain is not necessary. Those other places have no idea what they are doing. It's worth the drive. Ask for Mindy - she's great. Very friendly and professional. She's new to the place and is a wonderful addition to Wild on Wax.

Brilliant service
I have been planning to get a Brazilian for ages, but there are not many places in the UK that use the hard Brazilian Blue wax, so I researched the best salon in Houston - WoW came out top then I waited till I was on a business trip to have it done. I had a brazilian about a year ago at another salon and swore I would never do it again, but after my friend's recomendation to go to Wild on Wax I took a deep breath and went. Wax on, Wax off!
Went for the 1st time for my 1st ever bikini wax last Saturday (11th Feb.).
I was so nervous and almost chickened out on the way there. Thankfully I went through with it. Angelica (the waxer) was absolutely lovely....very professional but super friendly with an ability to relax you immediately. I was expecting pain and generally misery, but it was over before I realised! When Angelica asked if she had taken off enough, I was so impressed by her dexterity that I told her to take off more! I will be back for sure! And I'm taking my boyfriend to have his back done! I would advise the salon to get a slightly more obvious sign....the "Soak Salon" next door is visible from the road but Wild On Wax is harder to spot on a 1st visit. They may get more passer-by business if people knew what it was.

After dealing with shaving for 16 years, and after the recommendation of my Gynecologist, I decided to make an appt at this location. WHAT HAVE I BEEN WAITING FOR!?! I was so nervous that I almost didn't go through with it, I am so glad I didn't chicken out! Believe me forget everything you have heard or seen on T.V. it is not even close to as painful as it has been portrayed. I saw an episode of Oprah where a woman described it as two notches below giving birth, she has obviously been going to the wrong person. Wild on Wax does not use the cloth strips or the honey wax, they use a different kind of wax that is AWESOME and makes it SOOOO much less painful. I went for my first brazillian, and was terrified, I read and re-read these reviews because they were so wonderful. My appointment was with Helena. Yes ladies, it was painful, very painful. But as soon as its over the pain is completely gone and it is well worth it. I thought I wanted someone to talk more and take it slow, but Helena was quick and no-nonsense type, I truly think her professional demeanor helped alot. She is kind and quick and reminds you to breath to help the pain, and tells you what she is doing. You will leave pleased, no matter how scared you are, I HIGHLY recommend it gals. Great staff, fast, efficient, sterile, high comfort level. Definately the best!

Best Brazilian in Houston!!
I have been to Wild on Wax several times now and everytime I have been extremely satisfied! They are not cheap, but as another reviewer said -- a brazilian wax is not a time where cheap is better. D'Lesa makes you feel so calm. She is a true professional. She talks with you the whole time, tells you when to expect more pain and when to breath which really helps with the pain.
I recently tried a place that was a lot cheaper -- HUGE mistake. I walked out after the girl before me was done in about 5 minutes! They didn't use gloves or sterilize their equipment. WOW uses a special wax that does not stick to your skin, only the hair and their facilities are very sanitary. I vowed after this last horrific experience that I would never go anywhere other than Wild on Wax -- they're amazing!

MY GIRL is back! All I can say is, beware of the lies and the many stories you hear behind the move of Wild of WAX. I can confirm and I know for a fact that owner had her data base of clients stolen by what some would call the competition. Please know the owner of WOW would never sell, misuse or do anything that would hurt her loyal clients, I'm one of them. Waxing is art and no one does this better than WOW. Women of color don't trust your skin to just anyone, they have to know what they are doing! Don't be fooled that everyone does a great job, they don't! WOW teaches you about how to care for your skin, keep new growth to a min. and gets you in and out on time.
I've been a client for years and refuse to go to anyone else. WOW also has great classes for people that want to learn best waxing methods. How many business owners do you know that do that?? Trust me we need more people that know what their doing and I personally think it's great she is willing to teach others.
You will read a lot on this site, but the best experience is the one you know for yourself and you be the judge of who has the best wax in town.

Who better to get a Brazilian wax from than a genuine Brazilian?! Helena is great and always does a good job of chatting to make you feel more comfortable and keep your mind off the pain. I even followed her from her last salon to WOW - she's that good!
Only real complaint is how hard the place is to find - I had to call and get someone to guide me in! Once you find it, this place has a lot of character and is very comfortable and clean without that "sterile" hospital atmosphere.

Light on Pain
My first brazilian wax experience was not the best, but it was redeemed by Wild On Wax. I was made to feel comfortable, and the process was fairly painfree. I felt they took their time and was very thorough - She even asked if there was anything else she could do or something she missed. Try Helena - she uses an interesting technique with Ice that really helped!! I highly recommend - and have done so with two friends who have also gone!

I went today for my first Brazilian. Woo hoo! A friend of mine recommended Helena and she was excellent. For anybody who is considering it, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I will be going back! Pricing is about average compared to some other places but it's well worth it. They really know what they are doing...

WOW!!
I went in for my first wax ever, a Brazilian and legs. I was practically shaking. Helena was the best! She is just like one of the girls, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She even explained in detail everything she was doing, which helped me a lot. She even to work a little later just so she could accomodate me. I have been to her a few times now and I won't stop. Ask for Helena!!!

I have gotten several waxings before at other salons in Houston, but nobody has ever made me feel as comfortable as the staff at Wild On Wax. They know soo much about waxing and skin care and they genuinely care about helping you. This place is AWESOME!!
I have never had to wait on an appointment.
If you make it to your appointment like 5min early or whatever they will take you right then and there.
I've been going for almost a year(in June) and I recommend Selena for Brazilian waxes. She Rocks!
The staff is extremely friendly everytime I go there.
They've moved to a new location and I'm going there to check it out tomorrow afternoon.
I love them!!

Just okay
I went to WOW for a year. I had to stop going because they run SO LATE on their appointments. First 10 minutes, next month 15 minutes.. I finally walked out the door after calling to make sure they were running on time, being told they were then waiting over 45 minutes with no end in sight. Had no problem with the girl waxing. She was great. My time is to valuable to waste sitting in there crappy waiting area with out even being offered a drink.
