| Making both your job and the job of shopping easier? Now that's multi-tasking.
In Short With a new layout and modern concept, OfficeMax has titled its updated in-store experience as "Advantage." All renovations certainly do work for the customer's advantage, as aisle-free checkouts shorten the lines to many minutes' worth of waiting, and self-serve bulk bins now group office supplies into mini categories for easy selection. However, the biggest advantage is still the OfficeMax stock. From papers and pens to desks and filing cabinets, OfficeMax supplies everything to look the executive part. Cool technology and gadgets give an excuse to play on the job. |

Nicest manager
The lady manager was the nicest person. She was very polite and help me a lot. I like her very much.
Bad thing I got the wrong card and I don't remember her name now but I will go when she is there because she has a lot of knoledge in printing and she could do what others fail to do(office depot, staples and kinkos) I have been looking for something like this for months.

New Manager .... I think he may be INSANE...Office Max West Gray Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wont go back due to new INSANE manager.May 14th 2008 4:00 PM Central.. I took my cart up to counter and asked if his lane was open as it was hard to tell...he just looked at me with a blank stare full of some kind of attitude. After ringing me up I am taking my cart out stop for one second to look at reciept and Mr. Personality comes around and grabs my cart. I say no I dont need help but he forceably takes cart and says "No I Got It" all mad and proceeds outside with my stuff. I follow and as the moron is heading out into parking lot where I am NOT parked I grab the cart and tell him again I Got it Thanks...when Psycho wont get away from me I tell him again quite loudly that I am not in need of his "help" when he tells me I am "braking the cart" and he will just unload my stuiff for me on the ground. Needless to say the Irish was up by then and I let go with the F bombs. Whatever this fools problem is he cost a long time high dollar customer and I will NEVER go back to that store again ;( Can you say Office Depot ;)

Poor Service
I have walked into this Home Depot on several occasions and have never received a greeting from anyone of the employees. There are many younger, part-time employees that have little to no expertise on printers, fax machines, etc. and can offer no advice when asked. The store is always very confusing to navigate and I rarely ever find an employee around to help me when I can't find an item. I live less than a mile from this Office Max, but not even the convenient location would persuade me to go in again. My advice-It's worth the extra pennies you will pay in gas to go a little further down the road to Office Depot to get much better service.
