Amazing Eyebrows!!!
Natural Skin Creations is fantastic. I've been getting my eyebrows done there for a few months and I'll never let anyone else near them again! Never too thin, with a great arch. I recommend that anyone and everyone try this place out.

Great place for couples and girls day out!
Have always loved this place, since I found it driving by about six years ago. The cozy romantic feel to it is perfect for couples, especially their Valentines packages. However, recently I went to get a microderm and was very disappointed with Kaylie's work. I decided to let someone other than Kat do it because it was just such a great deal I didn't want to pass it up. Kaylie was very cordial but her touch was just too aggresive. I almost stopped her half way through the treatment. Unfortunatley, I ended up with a small burn that turned into a scab very close to the eye area. Had I known Kaylie was still in training I would have never done it. I emailed NSC about the treatment and Kat asked me to go in so she could take a look at the affected area. I can just say that I will continue to go to NSC and that Kat will do anything to keep you and your skin happy!

OMG!!!!!! Favorite New Spa!
OMG! So I went on a Saturday with some of my girlfriends and turned right back around and went on the following Monday. You name it, I am certain that NSC can claim. I have deemed myslef a spa advocate and have been going to them since I was in high school. I am native Houstonian and I am so sad that I have been missing out on NSC all this time. There is no hustle and bustle, no one coming in because they are in the area shopping and just want to drop in (i.e. the Village). It is truly relaxing and super cozy, it feels like home. There is a dog (Teddy) and a cat that reside there. It is so relaxing and comfy, that they even get along! The services are wonderful and make you want more. The staff is phenonmenal and will make you feel a part of their little family! I love NSC and it is officially my new favorite spa! CCF

A Wonderful Day
Myself and 14 of my girlfriends were delighted with the services we received from Natural Skin Creations. Waxing, massages, facials and salt scrubs. Use of the lagoon and sauna.
I have visited several Top rated spas in Houston .....and in comparison to say the customer service we received was wonderful is an understatement.
The treatments were prompt and had all of us glowing all day.
Everyone was very accommodating right down to the little details. Kat (the owner) was super gracious and can be assured that we will be back soon. At least 5 of my girlfriends have booked again for services and 1 even went back the following day.
Real Customer service is what they offer and it is an invaluable service.
Thanks to all of the staff at Natural Skin Creations.

Fabulous Brow Waxing
I have never had such a fabulous brow waxing and shaping done as I have had every time at Natural Skin Creations. She is very scientific about the whole process - starting with a natural lotion to protect the skin. She measures and carefully shapes the brows.
It is a very relaxing salon as well. You should try it - you will not be disappointed.

Unhappy with brows
I'm sorry to strongly advise _against_ Natural Skin Creations for eyebrows.
I grew my eyebrows out for 2 months (2 months!) in anticipation of a great brow shaping here, esp after reading all the reviews on Citysearch. Unfortunately I had someone new (Kylie) treat me (I now notice all the reviews were associated with Kat's eyebrow shaping), and although she was very cordial, she did not do a good job with my eyebrow shape _at all_. Right now they look unarched, patchy and irregular, as if I had done them myself with tweezers. I appreciate that she asked if she could do anything to fix them at the end -- unfortunately there wasn't.
Also, I don't want to cast Kylie, as a new staff member, in a bad light -- I'm sure she is good at the skin treatments that she does. Just _not_ eyebrows, and this should be made aware on CitySearch.
Two things to be aware of: (1) they ONLY do eyebrow waxes -- even though some reviews on here said they had had threading. If I had known earlier, I might not have gone at all -- as a result I am still swollen under eyes, which would be totally fine if I had great arched brows to go with it. (2) the first time you go it costs you $25. In comparison, my old place cost $10, and I have to say certainly did a better shaping, and much faster. I guess I'll have to grow my brows out again and go back to them.
Sorry, Natural Skin Creations. I am disappointed.

Great attention to detail
I've been getting my eyebrows done by the same person for years and have always been very satisfied. I was scared to try someone different, but was impressed by the job Kat did. She took her time and shaped my eyebrows with much detail. Her salon is relaxing and I would reccommend it to others.

Great Spa
I cannot say enough good things about the team at Natural Skin Creations. Not only is Natural Skin Creations a welcoming spa, every service that I've tried has been of the highest quality.
I am so grateful to Kat for helping me fix my problem skin. It has always been a source of embarassment, but after only 2.5 months of getting microdermabrasion treatments and using her products my face looks and feels great (I didn't know skin could feel healthy but it does). She is so good at what she does.
Kat is also great at eye-brow waxes (one of the best I've ever had) and Jessica is a master at laser hair removal. (I've only had one treatment but it was quick and painless).
I highly recommend Natural Skin Creations for people with problem skin, unwanted hair, or anyone who wants to give their skin a present.

Kat is the best!
I went to see Kat in the beginning to reshape my eyebrows after reading a review. I was not disappointed! While I was there, we talked about natural products and their benefits and about eating natural foods that will reflect on your skin. I was shown around the house (it's beautiful!) and saw the book "Detox 4 Women" and I knew that I had found my spa as I had recently read the book and had been touting its essentiality! I went back the next month to have a facial because of a headache, and it was honestly one of the best facials I've had. I felt that my skin was actually being treated rather than just being pampered. (And my headache disappeared!) I would definitely recommend this spa and I can't wait until my next appointment.

Photofacial ROCKS!!!!
I recently went for a (IPL) photofacial with Jessica to remedy dark spots and patches on my face. The results were amazing!! First of all, the cool touch machine she uses is vertually pain free ( aside from some mnimal zaps where hair is present -very tolerable and really worth the split second of "ooo i felt that"). Secondly, the staff here is knowledgable and professional. And lastly, THE RESULTS were AMAZING!!! After the first set, my skin was more even, almost all (but one area where it was really dark) of my dark spots were gone! My pores were smaller! and my skin was viberant! After my second set, my skin was completely even..no more spots!!! yea!!!! pores even smaller and I do not have to wear foundation anymore!
Another perk...they often run specials like buy two get one free. The treatment itself is alittle expensive (but not compared to other places that do the same) but it is worth every pennie!!! Let's face it..it's my FACE, everybody sees it! My friends and family noticed the difference after the first treatment.

Great place for great brows
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the soothing, relaxing ambience. I was seen quickly, and Kat explained everything she did. I enjoyed that my eyebrow waxing took place in a private room, on a comfortable reclining 'bed'. I was also pleased that she used a bright light (much like a doctor or dentist) to make sure she could really see what she was doing. Her waxing was next to painless, and she used a frozen ice roller (something I've never seen before) to soothe the waxed area. I left without a trace of redness, which was awesome, because usually I'm red and a little puffy for at least 3 hours. From now on, I'll only trust my brows to Kat! I was so impressed with Kat and the spa in general that I'll be going back this weekend to try her microdermabrasion treatment.

Best Brow Wax I have ever had...
I have had a horrible experience with eye brow waxes in the past. I have tried many spas that offered eye brow waxing and none of them delivered. One woman even burned my skin and I walked around with red spots over my eyes for weeks! Therefore, as I am sure you can imagine when I decided to give Natural Skin Creations a try for the first time I was a little anxious. However, when Kat was finished with my brows and showed me in the mirror my newly shaped, tamed, and perfectly arched eyebrows I was extremely pleased with the results! I would never go anywhere else. Natural Skin Creations is truly the best place in town to get your eyebrows done.

Overcharged me!
As I walked in the door I found the place very homey and relaxing. Everything seemed nice, I had called the day before and was under the impression I was going to be getting a $25.00 Bikini Wax and a $10.00 Eyebrow wax. As Katherine was waxing my bikini area she stated "If I wax anymore the price will change to $35.00" so I told her the way it is was fine being that was my first bikini waxing. She walked out of the room and was ready to check me out when I reminded her I also set the appointment for an eyebrow waxing. As she was waxing my eyebrows we began talking about measuring my eyebrows and how most places don't measure. That's when I stated "You aren't much more than the other places, only $10.00" she even said I KNOW!!!! Well I expected my total to only be $35.00+a tip, It was totaled to $60.00 I asked her why??? And that's when she told me the bikini waxing she did was $35.00 and the first time you get your eyebrows done it will be $25.00. Mind you she only waxed the bottom of my eyebrows....one week later my eyebrows are worse than they were before. My advice: Don't go by internet pricing and check your prices before the work is done.

I found Natural Skin Creations in attempt to find a spa that specialized in acne. I was very relaxed the second I walked in ( I had never gotten a facial before) and it was a wonderful experience. I received a consultation, a facial and advice for future visits. I purchased the face wash from her line and have been pleased to see that I have not been getting the same irritating bumps on my face. I ended up getting my eyebrows waxed because I had heard that Kat was the best in town and I have been wanting to reshape them! Other places have BUTCHERED my eyebrows trying to wax them and I am excited to see the end result from Kat! It was also nice that the waxing experience was painless unlike most places! I am planning on returning as a regular customer once a month! :)

This is definitely the best waxing I've had. They're very thorough but also gentle. Most places prefer to thin out your eyebrows but here, they understand how to shape one's eyebrows to fit your face. I really love their work and will be going back often.

Comfortable and Homey
I've only been to Natural Skin Creations once, but I had an experience that really stood out to me amongst all of the experiences I've had at spas. First of all, when I walked in to make an appointment for a bikini wax, the receptionist went to talk to the owner and said, "She can help you right now." That sort of flexibility was explained during a conversation with the owner. She lives above the spa. So as a result, her hours are very flexible and the place seemed immaculate. Also, she had her little cute dog running around the entrance area. To me, a pet lover, this made the experience more friendly and comfortable, even though I could see this being an issue if someone is allergic or deathly afraid of dogs. But, you should NOT worry about the place being dirty or having pet hair. It was pristine. And, above all, she did a great job. I've always gone to nice spas for waxing treatments, so all of them I've been satisfied with, but I have to say that the quality of the work was comparable to that of places with prices twice as high. I'm definitely going back.

MY GAL PARTY WAS FABULOUS
My sister recently passed away in April from Breast Cancer and I wanted to find a place that I could take the ladies that were so loving and comforting to her. I have been to the Urban Retreat and Trellis but was looking for a place that was would give me the privacy to just relax with the ladies. Katherine Clark book the spa for just us (six ladies) and pampered and made us feel like Queens and forget our sadness. We all decided to have massages and microdermabrasions. I really don't know where you could find a Spa that gives you the kind of service and treatment options that you could reserve all to yourself. It was quite a find! The service the staff provided me and my best girlfriends was outstanding. We had lunch catered and sat in her beautiful spa pool and drank Mimosas while we patiently waited for her to call our name -- we all wanted to be first so we could get back out to the pool and relax the day away. My girlfriend from Bentwater thought that Katherine gave the best facial/microdermabrasion that she bought a package and is driving all the way from Conroe just to see Kat. My guests thought that was most special time we had spent together. We were so relaxed and refreshed. It was a beautiful place. Not a stuffy, uppity type atmosphere. It was heavenly. I would highly recommend the place if you are looking for great facials, massages or laser treatments with the option of booking out the entire spa for a private party without paying a fortune -- AMAZING!

Satisfied Customer
Despite all the great reviews, I was nervous when I first visited Kat at Natural Skin Creations. I have had many bad experiences with brow shaping...everything from misshapen & overly thin brows to having the skin under my right brow ripped off along with the wax. Kat is very attentive and quickly put me at ease. She is a great communicator and very professional. She made sure that we were both on the same page as to what I wanted my eyebrows to look like and what she could do to help them regrow. This eyebrow wax was by far the least painful I have ever experienced. My eyebrows looked great when I left and from now on I will only trust them to Kat!
Another thing that I really appreciated was that, at the beginning of my appointment, Kat asked if I preferred to know what she was doing throughout the appointment of if I preferred silence. I prefer to know what's happening or about to happen and Kat walked me through the entire process as she worked. I found that really reduced my anxiety. However, I've also been in the other situation when sometimes you just want to relax and would prefer silence. It's nice to have those options offered up front.

Wonderful Place to relax
I first came in as a new client to get my eyebrows waxed. And I was greeted very well by the staff. Kat is a wonderful owner, she is obviously extremely experienced. My eyebrows have always been on an up and down rollercoaster. They have never been fully grown out and measured to allow them to fit my face. Kat told me what I needed to do to allow my eyebrows to grow back completely, and after my visit I was extremey satisfied with the end results. Now I plan on coming once a month as a regular customer!!

I love this place! I love Kat! At the end of the day I would much rather have a great skin day than a great hair day and Kat gives you that! BEWARE!!
I have gone to NSC for a year now. I always get my facials and waxing done by Marbella, who is wonderful. However, Marbella no longer works there anymore and not all customers are being told this when making their appointments with her. Just wanted to let those of you who do your internet research aware of this, so you don't book an appointment thinking Marbella will be working on you. The Best Spa in the Area!
Natural Skin Creations is the best experience in a spa that I have ever found. The environment is very relaxing, the people are super friendly and the shop animals are eagerly awaiting your arrival by the door. My cousin told me about this place and even got me a gift certificate to get a facial. My boyfriend and I wend to get facials and it was and amazing experience. You leave with your face glowing it is so clean and refreshed. My boyfriend enjoyed it as much as I did! I also am a regular when it comes to my eyebrows and skin care products. Kat and Marbella are amazing and can do wonders with your eyebrows! I love to go there to get my brows done because it does not hurt one bit and it is soo relaxing! It is a great time to wind down after work! I never want to leave and always look forward to my next visit!
Kat's skin care products work wonders!! I use them everyday and haven't had one zit since!

Perfect Get-a-way!
I found Natural Skin Creations through a friend in Yoga class, and I am SO glad I did!! The staff here is Great & so helpful. When I initially called, I had a million questions, and Heather was very helpful in being patient with me. I have been breaking out in the past 6 months, and could not figure out why. Heather asked a simple question, if I had washed my face when I was done working out (or for me doing Yoga), and to my surprise, I was not, & THAT was what was causing so much congestion! Of course, I booked a DermaGlow Facial that was suggested by Heather. When I arrived, I was pleased to see how 'zen' it was; a cute little house nestled in the heart of Montrose! Quiet & a perfect relaxing get-a-way! I only had to wait 5 minutes (which is WAY better than most Spas around town)! Marbella did my Facial, and it was FABULOUS! She is very thorough and she is perfect at easing your mind! She and the staff are GREAT and I will keep returning every 3 weeks. I have been back 3 times now, and within the first 2 Facials, my face cleaned right up, with the advice of Heather too. I wash my face before I leave Yoga, and in about 3 weeks, my face cleaned right up! These ladies are a God sent & you have got to try this Spa out! You will NOT be disappointed! Peace & Yogi Love!

Disappointing Facial
I tried this place out based on Citysearch reviews, and I cannot understand the rave reviews. First, my appointment started about 20 minutes late because the steam machine wasn't working. After the facialist Marbella was ready, I was taken out back to this slightly cave-like room with some seriously weird music playing. The music was so strange that the lyrics actually distracted me for most of my treatment. The steam treatment was a disaster. It didn't quite reach my face and when it did it smelled like dirty feet. The facialist actually left the room for part of the steam treatment which I found very unprofessional. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, and I felt like I might fall off of it at any moment. The extractions were painful and the results were not that impressive -especially, in light of the fact that the facialist kept telling me how good she was! Whenever I tried to make a comment or ask a question about the facial, she dismissed me and told me that she knew what she was doing. Needless to say, I do not have any plans to return.

First Facial Not As Great As I Hoped
I did my online research and tried out Natural Skin Creations because of all the great reviews here. I have oily skin and my pores were craving a purge of all impurities. I got the Revive Facial and I'm sad to say I didn't like it. :( Miss Kat and her staff were very sweet, but after the facial my face felt very tight, raw and remained red for several days. Interestingly, she used two Q Tips for the extractions, while this may be more sanitary it also HURT like cuh-razy and wasn't thorough--I still had some visible congestion. The extractions left dark, scar-like spots for several weeks and I broke out even more after that experience.

Best Skin Services in Houston
From the initial phone conversation to set the appointment I was incredibly impressed. I had called several spas around town only to be swiftly and rudely dismissed with "we're booked". Though this spa was booked as well for the day I wanted, the receptionist, Heather thoughtfully asked if something else would work for me. Her very friendly and professional nature convinced me in an instant to look at my schedule again. She also took the time to listen to my particular reasons for seeking a facial treatment and made a helpful recommendation to get me through the next few days until my appointment.
Today, I was enthusiastically greeted by the owner Kat, and Marbella, who did my facial. I got the Renewal and was amazed with the level of care that Marbella took in treating my skin. Her personality is fun and professional, always willing to answer any questions and offer suggestions to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment. She is also very meticulous and takes great pride in doing the facial to perfection! It's wonderful to meet people who love what they do, as it shows in the level of service provided, and I believe that these ladies truly enjoy what they do.
When my facial was finished, both Kat and Marbella took extra time to share some very helpful tips with me to maximize the results. I look forward to seeing my skin clear and shine with renewed health over the next few days. And I look forward to my next visit at Natural Skin Creations! I walked away feeling pampered, cared for and appreciated. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend them!

It's like your favorite bar!
I started going there over the past several months and have had a couple of different treatments all from Maribella. It's like your favorite bar because everyone knows your name and the "drinks" aka treatments are just what you need. The quality of the service is just as good as any of the high-priced pretentious salons around town, but it is way more relaxed especially since you don't feel like you're being judged when you walk in. It's also casual but very clean. Marbella listens to what your concerns are and what you need, and then responds accordingly. She is also very professional but fun at the same time. She makes sure she does a good job and doesn't hurry through so she can squeeze another client in. Overall, I have had many different spa expereiences around the city of Houston, but this place is definitely my favorite.

Most Relaxing Facial and Great Customer Service
After relocating to Houston I was stress and wanted to treat myself to something. Not having a facial in a while I thought why not - the weather in Houston can be so damaging to your skin. I began searching for a good place to get a facial in Houston and happened upon Natural Skin Creations (NSC). It was in my neighborhood and I was very impressed by the website (The real thing does not disappoint!!). Based upon some great reviews on CitySearch, I went out on a limb and made an appointment. I'm very particular about my skin. I have sensitive / dry skin. I got an aromatheraphy facial from Marbella and felt instantly renewed and refreshed. Marbella was very patient with me and my skin and I walked out of the spa with an illuminous glow. She removed all my dead skin without exerting wear and tear on my face. The cost of the aromatheraphy facial was quite affordable for the number of services provided. Marbella is also great with eyebrow and bikini waxing!!!! The prices for these services are also quite affordable compared to many spas or nail salons that offer these services. Before I moved to Houston, I swore by facials and other services at International Chain spa but I'm all about Marbella and Natural Skin Creations.

got addicted
its been 3 years since my last visit to a dermatologist that's why right now i have this real bad acne. I went to NSC 2 weeks ago and i cant wait to go back again. Marbella did my facial and she really made me feel comfortable and made me feel at home. She gave me advices on how to avoid from getting a lot of acne. The staffs are very polite and are not pushy with their products, (But i still ended up buying it because i love the smell of their products (minty smell)- it's addicting) I've only been there once and i was so satisfied with everything (no complains at all). I'm completely astounded with the great results from microdermabrasion treatments. Katherine is an incredible aesthetician, Marbella does wonderful facials and body scrubs and foot treatments. Marbella's eyebrow waxes are wonderful!
Marbella does an amazing job with eyebrow waxing. She really sculpts them to frame your face perfectly, and she never would make the mistake of making them too thin. The whole experience is just great actually, because you get to lie down on a very comfortable table (that she also uses for facials) while she works, and she alleviates the redness of your eyebrows after the wax with a one-of-a-kind cold soothing device (I honestly dont know what it is called). And after your first shaping and waxing treatment, it is only $10 to get your eyebrows waxed afterwards, as long as you go about once a month so that they don't have to be reshaped again. Yesterday evening I experienced my first facial with Marbella at Natural Skin Creations. Marbella made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I had pretty bad acne, and Kat assured me that with a little diet change and consistent Microdermabrasions, I would see a difference! WOW! I have had 7 micro's now, and a PhotoFacial (this goes deeper to eliminate bacteria!), and my scars are on their way OUT the window!! I am AMAZED! Best skincare around!
Kat, the owner of Natural Skin Creations, is AMAZING!!! I went to her because I was having acne problems after I had my daughter. Right after the first treatment, I noticed a big change in my skin. I started using her products (which she makes herself and are all natural) and changing my diet and what a difference it has made! I am now on my 6th treatment and my acne is gone. She has removed the scarring and I haven't had any more breakouts. Kat prides herself on being the queen of extractions and the most aggressive when it comes to microdermabrasion. She doesn't give herself enough credit....SHE IS AWESOME at both! You will notice a complete change in your skin after a couple of treatments. In addition, Kat isn't one to sell you products or services unless you really need them. She will be completely honest with you and will continue to work with you on your diet and skincare until you stop having breakouts. She wants results just as bad as you want them! Fantastic facial right here in Houston!
Everytime I went to New York , I would always get a facial because I thought quality facials did not exist in Houston. I was wrong! The Best facial ever
I am an African American client that has never had a facial before and I can only say that it was amazing. I have had a massage before and felt that I could never be more relaxed but I was wrong. Ms. Kat was so amazing that words cannot describe. She removed things in my face that I did not know I had. My skin is so amazing after one facial that I cannot describe in words, you must try it for yourself. I can truly say that someone like me with not a lot of money will go back everytime I can afford it. She is honest and very caring when it comes to your pocket and your skin. Wonderful Massage
I had never been to this spa before but when I heard about the massage summer special, I thought it was time to try it out. I am so glad I did !! Shelley is the massage therapist from heaven. Her entire demeanor is very soothing and responsive. She made me very comfortable and paid close attention to what I had to say about problem areas. This is very important to me as I have had many massages and have been in pain from the therapist not listening to my comments. The massage was perfect! Shelley has a wonderful sense of touch and provided exactly what I requested for pressure. She left the 'door open' to comments or feedback during the massage but didn't overly talk or chatter as some therapists have done in the past. I am here to relax, not make great conversation. I highly recommend everyone see Shelley, especially with her summer price special. I look forward to seeing her again and will be looking at the other services available. Great location, great service I will be back.

Personal, cozy and extremely professional skin care
I visited around 6-8 "facial" places in the past where the only thing they did was to clean your face and use some kind of scrub cream (that I can do) and then get charged $$$ for a simple scrub in your face.
As a physician I was really impressed how Kat delivers such a methodic, carefully done skin rejuvenation process that starts with a sterile clean of your face (to erradicate bacteria) followed by a stimulant massage and healthy hot water steam that opens up skin pores, later you get natural exfoliants mixed in a pleasant smell gel that refreshes the skin while Kat really deeply extract all impurities deposited beneath the epidermis (below the superficial layers of the skin). After the cleansing she touches up the skin with a refreshing light oil that revives your skin to the max, making your skin feel alive and glowing right away. Not to mention the pleasant and cozy environment and Kat's friendly personality makes every visit a pleasure. Should I mention the fact that Kat feeds you tasty (non fat) cold pieces of healthy chocolate during the visit? After all, most of all consider chocolate a health-food right?

I really enjoyed my experience at NSC. I got my legs waxed and Kat was very fast and friendly, and it barely hurt at all (even though it was my first time). The house is adorably unique and comfortable. I felt very at home and I would definitely recommend going to see Kat.

Best Eyebrow Shaping and Waxing
Two weeks ago, I ventured to New York City for a wedding. Before the wedding, I had my make-up done by a professional who was also an eyebrow specialist. The make-up artist complimented my eyebrows and said that it was the perfect shape for my face. I have Kat to thank for the beautiful shaping. However, the best part of Natural Skin Creations is that the waxing is pretty painless. I have been waxing my eyebrows from 15 years, but my experience with Kat has definintely been the best. Since my eyebrow waxing was pretty painless - i finally decided to try a bikini wax.......and it wasnt bad at all. (I've even gone back for follow-up bikini waxings)! I definintely recommend Kat and Natural Skin Creations for a pleasant waxing experience.

I am forever grateful to Kat, the owner, for helping me transition out of taking oral antibiotics to control my breakouts. After only two sessions with her, my face is breakout free. I credit this to her wonderful facials and extractions, as well as the face wash and other products that she personally creates.
Kat is very skilled at what she does, and she even has evening appointments to accommodate those of us that work long hours. After a long day, Kat's spa is a great place to relax and be pampered.

Ultimate Bachelorette Party
What a day I had at Natural Skin Creations!.
Thanks to Cat and the other girls at the spa... I (and all the others) had an amazing bachelorette party. The setting is perfect for a large group of ladies. There's a media room, full service kitchen, full spa, pool, sauna, hot tub and most importantly, an outdoor bar! Best skin care, personalized approach, excellent service!!
Not only is Kat one of the most personable people I've ever met, but it is clear she truly loves what she does. This was my first time to visit Natural Skin Creations, and it far surpassed all other spas I have visited! Every other skin care treatment I have received has been very inpersonal, and I felt as though I was getting the same treatment as everyone else. At NSC, Kat took the time to analyze my skin care condition, she talked to me about diet and which foods would aggravate my skin, and she even took the time to create a personalized spray toner for me to use! She created this out of natural products and tailored it for my specific skin condition. She even put my name on the bottle!
My skin started clearing up immediately, and it has only gotten better. I can't tell you how happy I am that I found NSC! I am going back for a follow-up this week! I'm so excited about having pretty skin again!
There is also a great area in the back that would be perfect for hosting a wedding shower! I can't wait to take advantage of that too! You have to try this place!

Best R&R
My girlfriends and I reserved the spa one Saturday, for two of their birthdays. Although we had visited several spas, this was our first time as a group. We have since vowed that we won't go to a different spa again, this is our spot. We are actually planning another visit, real soon. The owner, Cat, was incredible; she made us feel as if we were at home. The atmosphere was serene and the mimosas weren't bad either. Oh yeah, I recommend the salt scrub, it's fantastic. We arrived at the spa at approximately 9am and didn't leave until 5pm. We loved the fact that we had the spa to ourselves and the prices were a steal. Kudos to Cat and her staff, they are awesome.

Very unique and pretty place!
I decided to go for a microderm here after reading the reviews. The place is real nice- great for a couple's night or girlfriends having fun and relaxing time. Kat gives a lot of great advice and her natural products are pretty neat- my skin likes them so far. I need to go for round two of my microderm to get the finishing results of dark acne scars on my face that are slowly fading. I am curiouse about Fallon- the massage girl- I hear she's great.

I was looking for a place to relax and get a good facial after taking a big board exam and was drawn to Natural Skin Creations by all the laudatory reviews on Citysearch. The praise is well deserved. It's been 2 weeks, and the revive facial Kat did has kept my skin feeling clean and vibrant. Kat is topnotch at what she does, and the spa she owns is quaint, comfortable, and wholly without pretension. From start to finish, you feel welcome, pampered, and confident that you are in experienced hands. The residential neighborhood location of the spa enhances its retreat-like atmosphere; it's hard to believe you're still very much in the middle of Houston. And for all this, the price is actually lower than other spas I've been to or researched in my quest for the ultimate facial. Very important to me, there was absolutely no sales pressure to buy the latest, ridiculously expensive, cures-everything-but-smallpox cream. Products weren't even mentioned, although I have no doubt Kat could make some excellent recommendations if asked. All in all, it's a great spa, and I recommend Natural Skin Creations enthusiastically.

I hesistated on writing a review because I did not want anyone else to find out about this great spa. The is by far the best spa I have ever been to and I have visited quite a few. The personal service that Katherine gives you is like no other I have ever experienced. The atmosphers is cozy and comfortable and you feel like you could stay here forever. One of a kind!

The Spa is a one of a kind, you cann't get this treatment anywhere else in Houston as well as the relaxaition this Spa lets you induldge in. Fantastic Salon!
After getting back in town from abroad I was looking for a good salon to have waxing done. I had been to the "urban retreats" of the world and was looking for something similar in standard, but not as "stuffy". NAtural Skin Creations was the perfect balance. Best facial
This was my first of many times that I will be getting a facial from Kat. My face was broken out in a way that it had never been. It may have been a reaction to being threaded followed by a trip to New Orleans where I was exposued to fumes. Kat was great bc she wanted to know what happened so she could help (as opposed to when people ask so they can make a point of how in need of a facial you are). She was the same way when we spoke about products...not pushy... Kat's facial was tailored for what my skin needed and didn't feel like a run of the mill standard facial for all... I am all for natural products, but was skeptical bc I felt like I needed high potency. The products she used not only smelled great, but made my skin feel great. My skin also looked better immediately. This was amazing bc I really didn't want to go in public bc of my reaction... now I can celebrate my bday without wanting to put a bag over my face....

This is a wonderful place for those seeking retreat from the hussle and bussle of everyday city life. The quaint old house is so welcoming, and litte Teddy (Kat's sweet pooch) comes running to greet you at the door the moment you walk in. Because you feel so at home, it's easy to relax and enjoy your time here. Kat is wonderful and will gladly work around your schedule to accomodate you at any time day or night. She even told me that couples somethimes schedule late night champagne massages, and relax in the heated lagoon pool. How romantic is that! Ms. Clark is very flexible, scheduling a facial at the hours that work for you: Sunday, after work, etc.
I got a facial here about two months ago. My skin felt so supple and smooth even the next day. Often a facial's benefits last just until you wash your face--not true here! I brought my 12-year-old daughter in a week later. She's got typical teenage acne, and Katherine really made a huge improvement in her skin's appearance. She also sells her own skin care line, which my daughter truly enjoys.

Kat is not only awesome but also very amiable and personable. Her knowledge of the skin and various products is very extensive and the results prove it.
She has a foaming cleanser that works great and I am happy to see how my face has improved with it alone.
Kat will make you feel right at home and does not pressure you or ask you to buy any products, but you will find that you will ask for them either way.
Although, I have only visited her to get a facial, there are many other services she provides which I intend to use.

I have not been one to go to a spa alot because I often feel it is not worth the money. I went to Kat a few weeks ago with a specific concern - she was so easy to talk to, individualized my treatment and I saw great results! I recently went back for seconds at NSC.(March 2007)..I love Kat! First of all, she was very flexible with the timing of my appointment, and super accomodating with my services! I had a facial, and Kat suggested I get in the sauna after my service...it was great! All services include use of the pool area...so it was nice to dangle my feet in the cool water after my sauna time...I hate leaving this place! I couldn't help but hang around and let Fallon give me a fantastic massage! I was having some serious skin breakout issues, and her (Kat's) techniques and products really helped to heal my skin and hinder the breakouts. I am going back soon!

Cool little spa inside the loop
Nothing is more relaxing to me than going to Natural Skin Creations. Whether it is for a facial or just to have my eyebrows waxed, I know I am in for a treat. The house itself is very cool and is always being updated. The pool is gorgeous and now you begin to relax the minute you step out of your car because there is a waterfall and pond in the front yard. Katherine always seems so glad to see me and is very accommodating to my lack of planning ahead. She will always try to fit me in. I have no idea what kind of oils she uses, but they are wonderful. Catherine truely takes the time to let you enjoy yourself and relax and let the worries of the day melt away. The spa has a charm about it that your tucked into a traniqual rain forest. The spa is amazingly clean and everyone is very professional but most of all you leave having a new friend in catherine.

Tuck away in Houston
This place is a hidden treasure. A group of us girls went on a sunday to enjoy a day of massages, swimming, salt scrubs, and facials. We had a great time. Kat, the owner, was such a great host and so welcoming. We all brought a different snack and a bottle of champagne. It isnt treatment without a glass of champagne in your hand. I definitely recommend doing all the treatments. My favorite was the massage and salt rub. I also had the opportunity to get a microdermabrasion treatment. WOW! I had such a beautiful glow the next day, everyone noticed. I can not wait to book another day.

I love it here!!! They are always very professional and always work within my schedule. I also have been using the skin care line. The moisturer is the only thing I have found to block the sun and stop 'the nask' coming back. Even my doctor couldn't get me a prescription to do that.

The finest day and evening spa I have ever encountered. I'm a lucky gal!!
I want to share an experience with everyone that I had on a day along with my Mom, Sister and Daughter. It will never be forgotten. We wanted to do something different. We wanted to share a fun day together filled with some over due pampering and boy did we get that and more to say the least. As we walked in the door we knew immediately we had found an unforgettable, awesome place! Beautiful! Not only the spa but the smells and the atmosphere were intoxicating. So relaxing, everyone there was so attentive and caring. Genuinely kind. We immediately felt right at home. We changed into our swimsuits to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Kat gave me a Microdermabrasion with a facial while Mom had an Aromatherapy Dead Sea Salt Glow and my sister a Pregnancy Massage. It was all so heavenly! We had to dabble in all she had to offer there, including lunch! As we basked in the sun in the lagoon pool, Kat and her staff were there to cater to our every whim. While one of us was having a treatment done someone else was experiencing something equally fabulous. After my facial treatment I got my Salt Glow. I was scrubbed from head to foot, my hair was washed clean and they even included the bottoms of my feet! I thought I had died and gone to heaven. So relaxing. Even when I was getting waxed! My brows have never looked more natural. My teenage daughter learned so much from Katherine. How to properly cleanse her skin, and what foods to avoid... Kat introduced us to her own line of facial products. I have used them several times since I have been home and ALL of my other products are out the window! Upon leaving I scheduled a Photo Facial and I can't wait for that either. Natural Skin Creations has so many different services to offer from facials to body treatments to hair color and cuts. My next couple of visits will include spending an evening there with my husband and getting all the girls together for a super fun girlfriend play day! I can't speak highly enough of this place.

A Renewing Experience
I had the chance to attend a private party at this spa this last weekend for a joint birthday party and it was FABULOUS!!!! The house is really cute and, more importantly, comfortable and welcoming. There is not such thing as being stressed when you're at Natural Skin Creations. I had a great time hanging out pool-side between treatments. I already have plans to return and I live 6 hours away!!! It was just so easy to pamper myself and leave looking beautiful. I would recommend this spa to anyone asking!

A great place for a spa party!
I have known about NSC for years and have hosted several parties there - wedding showers, baby showers, birthday parties, etc. and every single one has been a HUGE success! Katherine does everything she can to make it easy and relaxing for the group and the spa itself is a wonderful backyard oasis - complete with outdoor bar area and pool/hot tub - making it the perfect place for a special gathering. Perhaps my favorite experience was when I planned a romantic Valentine's Day date for my husband where we had the whole spa to ourselves - including a couples massage, private use of the pool and hot tub - complete with champagne and sushi! But now I am giving away my secrets...if I didn't like Katherine and NSC so much - I would try to keep this wonderful place all to myself! :)

Incredible salt scrub and massage!
I had a fantastic salt scrub leaving my skin smooth and glowing, lasting for days. The salt scrub was given in a massage manner, making it very relaxing. The vichi shower, to rinse the salts, was in itself incredibly soothing. I also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, lagoon like and private. It was a perfect place to go with a few girlfriends and relax and be pampered!

This is my 2nd review of Natural Skin Creations and I just want to say that not only do I travel 565 miles but I have 3 friends that travel with me now and they love the Spa and the serene atmosphere. One can tell immediately that there is harmony and peace there. The reason we travel there is for the very best facial and microdermabrasion anywhere, and now Marbella is there, working with Kat, so you have a choice of the best and the best. A terrific pedicure and manicure and the salt glo's are just divine. We have been there when a party was going on and the professional way everyone was treated was exceptional. What comes to thought when I think of this Spa comes from a poem/hymn, "In Atmosphere of Love divine, we live and move and breathe." And at Natural Skin Creations, you are truly in a divine atmosphere. If you haven't tried this Spa, you are missing something wonderful.

Best Facial in Houston
I have been going to Kat for a few years and she gives the best facial I have ever had. I have large pores and a tendency for blackheads and she keeps my skin smooth and soft. I began to see her after going on a cruise and coming back with an acne/clogged pore problem that my regular facialist could not take care of. Kat had me back to normal in about 3-4 sessions and my husband tells me my skin has never looked so good. I also use her skin care line and am very satisfied with that. She offers microdermabrasion and chemical peels and spends whatever amount of time necessary to make your skin look and feel healthy. Her place of business is always warm and inviting and the backyard is a gorgeous place for parties!!!!
If anyone is looking for someone who will take the extra time and effort with you skin, Kat is the one to call.

Here's where you go when your skin is getting the better of you. Acne, scars, bad coloring... you name it. My skin cleared up in the first visit and her very own products are what keep the breakouts away. Her foaming cleanser is amazing!!!
