Great tan, Nice staff
I tried Eclipse on the recommendation of a friend. I went onto their website and bought a three tan airbrush package for just $100. Didn't think that price was too bad. I have only been for one session so far and it was a great experience. They got me right in on time, the girl who did it was so nice I hardly noticed I was standing there with no clothes on the whole time, and the result was great! Can't wait for my next appointment :)

I really like this tanning salon
I started going to Eclipse Tanning about a month ago, and I really like it. I currently do the UV Beds, but plan on doing airbrush as well. The staff is awesome! Very clean place as well. Plus I never have a problem getting in. I highly reccomend it!

Sarah is the BEST Airbrush person at this tanning salon!
I went to Eclipse for the first time to get an Airbrush Tan. I have never done anything like this before. I just want to tell all the readers ASK FOR SARAH, she made me feel so comfortable and was professional. The prices were reasonable and I did not feel any pressure to buy a package. However, after the explanation by Sarah of how my package will NEVER expire I bought the 3 Airbrush Tan package. I just want to express how much I love my tan and how much I appreicate what this young lady does and how tasteful she was regarding the whole process. Great Service, Amazing Tan
I found Eclipse after moving from Dallas where I had a great airbrush person. I was so happy to find Eclipse, they do a GREAT job! Their airbrush tan turns out perfect every time and the price is better than what I was expecting. It's not cheap, but I've seen it much more expensive, and I feel I get my money's worth.
I only wish they were a little closer so I could go more frequently.
Make sure you book your appointment in advance if you want to go in the evenings.

Don't Know Whats Up Her Booty
I have been a client of Eclipse since it first started. I know "the Manager" and she tans me once a week for the last few years, I have NEVER had a problem at Eclipse or with the staff, everyone is always fiendly. I love the fact that the ladies there always know my name and are ready to serve my needs the minute I enter the store. I am writing in support of the staff at Eclipse and am a bit disturbed at what this customer had to complain about and then read the owners comment. Just want to say that this Tanning salon is Houstons BEST and there is a reason that they are one of the only places that Airbrush, because it is the best. I always feel comfortable and their unlimited plan is what it seems I have never had any trouble booking an appointment or using my unlimited to tan in bed (it is included). However there have been times I could not get in, I can use the tanning booth, but prefer the Airbrush. So for that book in advance! Other than that, once again they staff and the salon are great!

Fabulous Sunless Tanning and Great Customer Service
I have been going to Eclipse for the past two years and I must say this is the best tanning salon in Houston. I was a little dubious about the "sunless tanning" look before I tried this place, but I am now a convert. I started out using the mist-on (car-wash booth) machine and liked the end result and the ease of the process, but one day the manager talked me into trying the airbrush tan. She was really nice and the whole experience was positive. I am now hooked! I have signed up the unlimited airbrush service and have on a few occasions used the UV beds which are included for free with my package. As I write this, my tan is 10 days old and my arms still look tan! I would recommend Eclipse to anyone wanting to try sunless tanning.

Highly disappointing
I found my experience with this salon very disappointing!
An unlimited airbrush tanning package is not unlimited! You can only tan once a week. This is directly from the manager and the owner! I have been tanning at this salon for over 6 months and my experience has progressively gotten worse.
My hours of tanning became restricted because the manager felt I was being unfair since I had not tipped her in relation to others. Another employee told me this having been instructed by her that I could no longer book morning hours. Be prepared --- you obviously better tip everyone, in addition to paying you monthly tanning fee!!!!!
I had to bring this up to the manager. This began just one of the employee issues that surfaced that interfered with me simply wanting to get a tan.
All I can say is employee relations are a diaster at this facility and it has to do with management.
Unlimited airbrush tanning is not unlimited. You can only tan once a week. Don't expect to make an appointment ahead of one a week. Management is not supportive of the customer. Expect to tip on top of your tanning fee, or your service will suffer. The owner supports his manager over the customer. The manager lacks people skills and is unprofessional in conduct directly to and in front of customers.

Excellent Customer Service
I just moved to Houston and found Eclipse online. I had checked out a couple of other tanning salons before I went there and was not happy. The people that work there are sooooo nice! They answered all of my questions and were knowledgeable about their beds. Everyone always knows my name when I walk in and they know what kind of bed I use. That was like after the first time!
The owner is really nice and helped me out when I was leaving town for a few weeks and needed to pause my membership.
The salon is clean and the beds are really strong. Their prices seem better than the other places I looked, too. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my choice!

Eclipse has my vote!
I recently was referred to Eclipse by a girlfriend who had joined there. Her tan looked great so I wanted to see if I could get the same results. I'm still a little behind her, but I'm catching up! I have to say, this is the nicest, friendliest tanning salon in Houston. I got the "run of the house" package where I can do airbrushes, the spray machine, and the beds and I love it. The airbrush turns out perfect - no streaks or splotches!!! I use the beds sparingly, but they are super nice and comfortable. Plus the place is extremely clean. All in all, it's my favorite tanning salon I've been to.

Amazing Tan
I have to say, I was skeptical about the airbrush tan. I'm a fake baker from years back, but I'm trying to stop that. I had an event that I needed to look tan for since I was wearing a low cut dress. I made an appointment for the day before my party and they explained the process to me. The whole thing was very simple (although a little cold). I was done in about half an hour and my tan looked great. The girl who sprayed me was very friendly and professional. Everyone there was really nice and the whole experience was positive. My tan lasted for about a week, maybe a little more and it did not look fake at all. I will definitely be going again!

Amazing sunless tanning and wonderful customer service
This was my first sunless tanning experience so I was a little nervous. I was afraid I might turn orange so I went in a few days before a big event. I went in for my first appointment in the evening and did the mist -on spray tan. I woke up the following morning darker and was fairly satisfied but I did have a little streaking. I have a special event this weekend and this great little dress so I wanted to be sure my legs looked great. I called Eclipse and asked if I could come in for a touch up. They welcomed me with open arms. They were very professional, fixed all of my streaks and I feel like I look great! They wanted to be sure I was 100% satisfied. I would reccomend Eclipse to anyone wanting to try sunless tanning.

Horribly Dissappointed
I visited Eclipse for an airbrush tan. When I got there the manager was arguing with one of the other employees, telling her that she was the best because she had been there the longest. There was one other customer sitting in the waiting area being subjected to this awkward situation. I finally caught a break in her lecture and she told me to have a seat that they would get me right back to the airbrush room for my tan. I sat there reading a magazine while the two ladies went into another room where I could here the lecture continue. When it was my turn to get the tan I went back to the room and while she was spraying me she complained the whole time about her problems with the employee. Is it just me or when going to a salon should the conversation not be about you and your life, not the person performing the service? The salon was very clean and the tan was okay (my feet were splotchy) but my entire time there I felt very uncomfortable, like I shouldn't have been there. All in all, I will never return to that salon.

Good solution for tan lines
I have really bad tennis tank tan lines, so I went to Eclipse to get it taken care of before my wedding. I tried the airbrush tanning a week in advance and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The ladies there are very professional and made me feel very comfortable at my first visit. While it did not completely eliminate the tan lines, it blended it quite well so that you couldn't really see them in pictures. I liked it so much that I went back two days before the wedding to get it again. I would recommend trying it once to see if you like it first.
Be ready to sit around and do nothing for 8 hours. I watched three movies straight the second time I went - I found that was the best way to occupy my time so that I don't touch my arms or any other part of my tan. The smell can be kinda bad for the first 24 hours. The stuff gets on your clothes, but washes right out. If I ever needed to wear something strapless and be in lots of important pictures, i would do it again.

Above and beyond!!!
The staff at Eclipse was very accommodating recently when I had a last minute event and had to get in for an airbrush tan appointment. They were able to work me in, even though their schedule was already full. Sarah took great care of me and saved me from being pale for a formal event I was invited to at the last minute.

Great Results
I was really nervous about getting a spray on tan, I had a horrible experience in a spray booth, I looked like I had a skin disorder, but after talking to the staff I went ahead and scheduled an appointment. I am really happy with the results over all. My thumbs are the only parts that look uneven. Chris was super nice and made me feel really comfortable. An appointment is a must.

Wow! What a great tanning salon!
This is the most unique tanning salon I've ever visited. They have the greatest staff - and the owner is a dream! They cater to your every need. I've tried all their services, including the tattoos! I'm partial to the airbrush tan, but I still do the beds regularly. They're really artists. Who doesn't wanna look tanner, thinner, and more cut? I had no idea they could do all that!
In short, it's a great salon with a great staff and service. The beds are top of the line and the service is second to none. I hate to gush, but I'm a little smitten with them...they treat me like royalty!

I was a member at Solar Retreat, which Eclipse has now bought. I have always used the UV beds before, but since they're not installed yet, they talked me into the airbrush tan. I must admit I was skeptical, but what an amazing process! In 20 minutes, I was tanner than I'd ever been! I'm sure I'll use the tanning beds still, but when I need that extra boost, the airbrush is great. The owner took care of me personally and was very gracious. I'm glad Solar Retreat ended up in such good hands!

Coolest Salon!
Eclipse is the best tanning place in Houston. The atmosphere is really cool inside. The sunless tanning works great. I'm not about to turn myself into shoe leather, so this place is a great alternative to tanning in coffins. The tan looks great and the people that work there are really nice. Totally Awesome!
I have been going to this little salon in Montrose for about a year and a half. I've always done the mist-on booth, but now that they've started the airbrush tanning, I've done it a couple of times. Great Tan, but Have Suggestions
Scott did a great job on my tan--it is very realistic looking. My advice to first-timers is to make sure that you let it dry completely before touching anything. Don't argue with Scott when he puts less bronzer on your hands and feet--he's right!!! Scott e-mailed me the next morning to make sure everything was okay with my tan. Very professional. Bring *really* loose clothes--plan to go home afterwards.

Great Service, great tan
I was one of the first airbrush customers when they started it several months ago and even on the first time, I was amazed with how thorough and even my tan was. Of course, I exfoliate before I get the treatment and remove my make-up. With my skin clean and clear of impurities, the tan goes on so smooth and even. I was referred by a friend who did it even before me. We both are sold on it. Much less expensive than some of the spas in town, and doesn't require hours of being shuffled through their system. We're both hooked. I'm recommending it to my daughter who's getting married this year.

Airbrush worked great for me!
I too went to Eclipse before going on a cruise. I followed the instructions of exfoliating my skin and not wearing makeup or moisturizer to get the tan. Mine turned out incredibly. It lasted pretty much the whole time I was on the cruise and maybe a little after. I moisturized every day like I was told and that really must help. I have another trip coming up in a few weeks. I'll be back again for sure before that trip. Nothing but raves here!

Consistently good
I've been going to this salon for over a year. I've already done the airbrush three times and the miston booth countless times. The airbrush is definitely great for special occasions....weddings, vacations, parties. I have been completely satisfied every time. The one time that I accidentally got wet too early and messed up one of my arms, they touched me up the next day - gratis. No one ever knew but me. I still love the miston machine for just weekly color.

uneven & splotchy; totally disappointed
Tried this place because of the good reviews, but was completely unhappy with my tan. Got airbrushing done by the owner. It was uneven; darker in some, lighter in others. . and not purposely. My legs were part tan, part super-tan. He missed a whole strip on my forearm, leaving a pale 1-inch wide line down the length of my arm. I had a 50cent piece-sized-spot on my arm that was darker than the rest. After pointing it out to him, he assured me that itd wash off when I showered. . . it didn't!!! My face was left blotchy and looked like I had a skin disorder. I mistakenly did this right before my vacation, and was too embarrassed to take pictures during my trip. Had high hopes for this place but dismally disappointed. Everyone there was really nice, but unfortunately, that doesnt make up for the horrible results.

I love this place
I'm a very light skin hispanic and I like to have more of a tan, but I'm afraid to tan in tanning beds. This works out great. I get an instant tan that makes me look like I've been in the sun all week and it's totally even and looks real. I go about once a week in the summer so I can stay as dark as my girlfriend who is a lot darker than me. She really likes it too. And I feel that it's safe. Good place!

Incredibly realistic sunless tan
I've realized I can't afford to do any more sun damage to my skin and I'm certainly not going to get in one of those coffins for a tan, so I've been using the Mist on tanning at Eclipse. After I got the hang of it, it's so great. It only takes me 1 minute, I love it! It looks just like a real tan - not orange and not streaky. Beautiful Tan - Great Service
Eclipse is the absolute best! This is the first sunless tan I've actually liked. Due to skin cancer I can't tan in the sun or beds (how I got the skin cancer!), so I really was hoping to find one that worked well. After trying several and being disappointed, this one's a winner! The tan looks even, the color looks natural, and it lasts for a week. I go about once a week or more on the unlimited plan which is a great deal!

Spa treatment at a great price
I have been getting airbrush tanned at a local spa who shall remain nameless. A friend told me she had it done at Eclipse for about 1/2 of what I was paying, so I gave it a try. I have to say, they are much more thourough, the tan looks much more natural, and the price allows me to do it more often. I really was surprised by the quality. Best Experience in a Tanning Salon
Eclipse is the greatest. They opened early for me because I was leaving town. I usually do the mist-on tan there that is soooooo much better than mystic tan or those darque tan showers! I've tried the other places in town that offer sunless tanning as well as UV tanning. Let me say, they should stick to the UV tanning. Eclipse does only sunless tanning, and when I found that out, I had to try it. What a difference! Their machine actually works, and they're not constantly out of fluid! The mist on tan is the best one out there. The employees were very knowledgeable and helpful too. I guess it's because they actually use their product! Kudos to a great salon!

Fantastic!
I've been using the Mist On machine at Eclipse for a while, but this week I got the airbrush tan. My tan has never looked better! In 30 minutes I went from a milky white to looking like I just stepped off the plane from a Carribbean getaway! (Actually, I was checking it out before I do go on one.) The whole process was a pleasure, the technician was extremely professional, and I was made to feel very comfortable. The tan is amazing - and it's about 4 days old now. Ready for Mardi Gras
I wanted to get an airbrush tan before I went to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. A friend recommended Eclipse, so I gave it a try. I could not be more pleased with the results. My only problem is that it's not permanent! The tan looks great and they were very accommodating. I had problems making my appointment and they were able to work me in during a busy time, thankfully.

I just did the airbrush tan there a couple of days ago. I'm amazed. It looks so even, and such a realistic color!
I will definitely be going back. I did this for an event, but I think now I'll just do it all the time because it looks so good!
They made me feel very comfortable, too (although the spray's a little cold!) I would recommend to anyone who needs to get a tan and doesn't want to lay in a bed for several weeks...
Much less costly than any of the spas I found, too.

Pale to Bronze!!!
I'm super pale and went to Eclipse yesterday and got airbrushed by Scott. I swear, I came out looking like J-Lo! (Well, not everywhere, but at least the tan.)
I had no idea the airbrush tanning was so good. My boyfriend hardly recognized me. I'll definitely be doing it before my wedding in a couple of months. But I think I'm already addicted.
Super nice guy, too....we couldn't stop laughing!

LOVE IT!
I had heard about this place from several friends and their TV commercials. I wanted to get my whole bridal party to do it before my wedding. They were SO nice and worked so much to acommodate us!
Everyone LOVED their tan, and most of us ended up going back and getting packages. This is SO much better than the other spray tans me and my friends have tried. I've already sent several more friends there...it's the best!

Great Tan
I just moved to Houston and was happy to find there's a sunless tanning place here. I've been using it in Chicago and I love it. This place was really nice and cheaper than my old one!

Perfect tan!
I've been using self tanners for a while, but never could get "great" results. This makes it so easy! And it comes out so even and a great color. I love it. Anyone with fair skin or who cares about their skin should do this! I found the prices to be pretty reasonable too....

Excellent!
I found out about this place from a friend who's a regular there. I didn't know he was doing it, I just thought he had a good tan...then he stopped in to do it and we were there less than 5 minutes! I signed up the next day.
Really helps point out muscle definition and give you more of a toned, cut look.

This one works great!
I went here the first time a few months ago and loved it. Then, I tried a different machine at Darque Tan and one at Christiana's. I will NEVER leave this place again! The other ones did either nothing or a horrible job. If you want to get a natural-looking, even tan this is the only place in town to go! Save yourself the trouble, I made the mistake of going somewhere else and I won't repeat that!!!
I got the unlimited package - by far the best deal.

So Easy!
This is the coolest place ever! I love it! I'm one of those pale people who can never tan. And I'm deathly afraid of skin cancer and tanning beds. I've tried other spray on tans and they didn't look like this one. This is the best I've found. The color looks very natural and lasts a whole week for me.

Great Fake Tan!
I love this place! The tan is awesome and only takes a minute. I hated tanning beds and this is nothing like it. It's fast, easy, and no sweating or being clostrophobic and bored.
I was skeptical, but the tan looks really great and lasts me a whole week. I've tried the other types of spray on tans, and this one doesn't even compare - it's like the real thing! Highly recommended!
The staff was really helpful too!
